DESCRIPTION

We each have a home rhythm in how we relate to life, relationships and the world around us, dancing to the beat of our own drum. Discovering your home Rhythm can provide insightful information in navigating through the world, facing challenges that arise and becoming more fluid in our approach to life. Do you flow through life, but have difficulty committing? Are you a planner, yet struggle with change? Do you wait until the last minute and fall into ‘out of control’ mode when deadlines arise? Are you a creative shapeshifter, yet at times loose your focus and follow through? Are you an intuitive empath connected to spirit and at times get overwhelmed shifting into numbness to protect yourself? Understanding our shadow and light patterns through the dance empowers us to make conscious choice. In this 6 week series we will delve into discovery together through the dance.

Attending the whole series is recommended to get the full benefits of the work as we move through each of the Rhythms. Following the series will be a Wednesday Sweat Your Prayers with minimal guidance.

Time: 7:45-9:15pm

Dates: Wednesdays, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12

Exchange: $20 drop-in, pre-pay for whole series $100

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
