Dancing in the chaos lead me to find my dharma, my soul's mission since the day I stepped into the 5Rhythms practice over ten years ago.
The past two years have been a deep dive into my shadow work, the fastest spiral and the most intense times. Internal death, and rebirth into the next version of myself.
Return to my deepest truth.
The spiral dance of life took me into the depth of darkness so I could recreate and reform "my" visions, and "my" stories into the wisdom of the truth of who I am.
The darkness became a sacred place once I chose to embrace, surrender, and trust, which lead me into my purest light, into my soul, into my self-love like never before.
It's a human identity that makes us stuck. Because we will never be able to release our suffering if we continue to create our identity around the imagined self within us that is suffering.
Our shadows are not something to neglect or just shy of.
When we dance, our body tells us what it is. It expresses itself.
By embracing the shadow we find the pathway back home.
To dance and be comfortable with the uncomfortable.
To give our love and tenderness to all parts of ourselves that need the most.
The parts that we are rejecting and have forgotten.
For it is this fear, shame, and guilt that makes us stuck in our safe, natural neurotic self.
When we open our arms and welcome with a sweet embrace, we wake up from a deep sleep and suffering.
My way, the only way out is through the body.
No matter how much we seat and talk, or read and learn.
All the subconscious stories, pain, unresolved emotions, experiences, and memories are deeply rooted in our flesh and bones,
It is only a direct body experience we need to have to unclog the stuck places within us,
to transform and alchemize old energy to free ourselves and find peace.
Once we become curious to transform our suffering into art, magic will start to happen.
It's ok to feel!
"Grief can be the garden of compassion.
If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life's search for love and wisdom." Rumi
We come together to be seen, to be embraced, to be heard, to be inspired.
To ritualize, to pray, to experience the art of this body, heart, and mind.
To dance each other home.
