Now is a time where nature all around is slowing down, going within.. and is a lovely reminder, for us as beings, to slow down, go within, reflect, listen to Be.

This is an invitation to explore this inquiry.

To Pause.. coming back to our breath, listening.

To move, to rest.. a point of being…

We live in a world that is constantly changing and always on the go.. being pulled in many directions, often we can get lost in that stream of hurried-ness.

In this workshop, we will use the map of the 5Rhythms: flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness, bringing a focus on stillness within all the rhythms, where we will give space to pause and listen. When we pause, there is an alive space where anything is possible, and a presence to be in the moment.. a place to rest, restore, renew, re-charge so we can re-energise. In inviting the power of pausing in the dance, we will find ways how this moves with ourselves, another, in community, so we can find ways of bringing some of these tools, to aid and empower us, to take out into the dance of our everyday life.

A Little About Ruth Hirst:

Ruth is a registered teacher of both 5Rhythms and Soul Motion conscious movement modalities. She has been dancing for 19 years and over 10 years teaching experience, with both modalities. She is also a dramatherapist and actor, working for over 20 years with people from different ages and backgrounds. She lives and teaches in London, bringing classes and workshops throughout UK and worldwide. She is passionate about how the dance continues to transform and heals each of us on our journeys.
