Dance out the old, dance in the new!

You are invited to join us for a magical gathering to mark the turning of the year. An opportunity to celebrate the gifts of the past year, shed the tribulations and set our intentions for the coming year; in movement, with fire and with a bloody good party.

Fell Edge Farm is a beautiful venue on the moors above Wharfedale with a long history of hosting amazing events. There is a gorgeous warm converted barn with a sprung dance floor. By car it is about 50 minutes from Leeds or Todmorden, 80 minutes from Manchester or York, 30 minutes from Shipley. There will be a lift-share system so it is very likely there will be lifts from your area. Nearby Silsden station is 30 minutes from Leeds and there will be a shuttle or taxi service to and from the station to tie in with the trains. There is plenty of space for hardy campers and room for a limited number to crash in the barn if needed.

All of the event is open to all and children are welcome (your responsibility!) for the evening element.

1pm-6.30pm 5Rhythms workshop with Chris Boylan.

7pm-2.00am gathering, fire, party and whatever other shenanigans emerge.

Cost for whole event £50, possible concessions on application. Workshop only £35. Evening only £25 minimum. 40% of proceeds go to Kitrinos Healthcare working with refugees in Camp Moria, Lesvos, Greece.

Advance booking essential, places are limited to 40 for the workshop and 100 for the evening element. There are some free crew places for those who have experience of crewing at festivals or 5Rhythms events.

This event is initiated by Chris Boylan. He has been studying 5Rhythms for twenty years and teaching since 2007. His parties and his New Year 5Rhythms events have a great reputation; he’s super-excited about combining the two, particularly at such an awesome venue! He came to dance as much through the underground free party scene as through 5Rhythms so great tunes are guaranteed. Visuals by the amazing Kandle Voodoo.
