My dance changes each day. Some days I arrive and I’m soft and fluid, meeting myself in a very tender place. Other days I’m all edgy lines ready to burst at the seams. Sometimes my chaos is wild with abandonment and other times it’s a gentle vibration radiating through my body. Lyrical can be soaring and other times it’s simply the truth of my dance in the moment, which can be anything and everything all at one time. Following the entire wave in Stillness on days when my energy is low is revitalizing and rejuvenating and ohhhh so needed. The Rhythms give us an opportunity to truly listen to what we need and be exactly as we are in our unique expression. 

This class is an open invitation to follow your truth in each Rhythm! The first Wave will be a gently guided invitation into embodiment of the Rhythms followed by an open Wave to do your own exploration and internal listening. This listening is so needed in our fast paced lives that can lead to burn out, fatigue and exhaustion. Let’s rejuvenate through the Rhythms together.

Christina is a Certified 5Rhythms® Teacher, part of the global 5Rhythms teachers association (5RTA) and a Licensed Marriage Family therapist (#97298) with a wide range of experience offering movement practices to schools, teachers, hospitals, therapists, teen and adult residential treatment centers and for leaders/practitioners in the healing arts. Christina's teachings focus on building and strengthening our relationship to self, others and our community through authentic movement, expression and awareness. She has spent many years studying 5Rhythms while living in Europe and brings this flavor to her local and international classes/workshops where she spends much of her time teaching in San Diego and Mexico. Life is a dance and when we bring Mindful awareness to embodied movement a pathway opens to discovery of our full potential. 5Rhythms provides us with the map to navigate the internal terrain of our highest and most enlightened selves.
