The 5Rhythms is a moving map that can carry us through life’s shadows and into the lightness of being.  Every rhythm has its embodied shadow, and every shadow has a dance that opens the blinds to the light. 

Our shadow dances often feel like deja vu moments – comfortable or uncomfortable in their familiarity, their endless repetition.  What if we could dance our way through deja vu and into a new view, shine a light and lighten up? In the first of these two one-day workshops we’ll explore the shadow side of the rhythms, identify the shadows that we know best, uncover ones that we haven’t named before, and body build on our fact-finding, fleshing out our relationship with the light side of rhythms.  In the second part we’ll revisit the shadows as an opening to the light, explore unexpected and surprising ways to embody the pure rhythms, follow the map to new relationships with both the shadows and the light, and dance into new views.
