On this 3-day 5Rhythms workshop, heart level (Heartbeat™), I will invite you to embark on a circular journey, where we will explore emotions as energy, as a form of power that is part of the universal human experience.

We will give space to the stagnant energies of emotions that are locked in our organs and held in the cage of our chest. We will invite them to move and, with their breath and expression, invite them to begin to gradually relax. We will navigate between emotional landscapes, without the need to move away from them or push them aside: fear-anger-sadness-joy-compassion. We will give ourselves permission, body and heart, for emotions to once again become our basic language, our sanctuary, our book of wisdom, our home.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM

Starts on Friday, 10th of February 2023 at 19.30. Finishes on Sunday, 12th of February 2023 at 16.30. You will receive a detailed program upon registration.

Martina has been dancing since she was little, she started with modern dance in her childhood and teenage years, she continued with music, art and theater education. For a number of years, she was trained in various movement and dance practices, 20 years ago she started the path of a 5Rhythms dancer and to this day remains primarily a student of this practice. She has been teaching rhythms since 2014 (Waves level certificate), 2022 (Heartbeat level certificate). She is fascinated by various knowledges, she taught art history and fine arts at a high school for 16 years, directed several theater performances, and was involved in theater pedagogy. With singing, she moved from choirs to intuitive voice research. She is currently continuing her studies in the field of mindfulness, somatics and in the Family constellation system. In the workshops, she follows the 5Rhythms map and combines knowledge and inspiration. For the past 9 years, she has been teaching regular meetings in Ljubljana and leading multi-day workshops at home and abroad.

Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. The prerequisite for participation in the workshop is 15 hours of danced guided meetings with a certified teacher, Waves level.

Participation in the workshops counts 15 hours or as 3-day workshop, Heartbeat level, for those who are on the path to become a 5Rhythms teacher.

LANGUAGE: workshop will be led in Slovenian, with translation into English.
