Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. Winter is a time where we burrow ourselves into the warmth of our homes. We are like planted seeds in the ground preparing to spring forth sprouts. In Winter, we begin to cultivate visions, dreams, being introspective and reflective of our present and future times. Through the 5Rhythms® maps of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness, we will move our bodies through the darkness to see what possibilities and pathways are open to us as we prepare to come out into the light in Spring! 

Ritual: Give away with intention, please bring a small gift (nothing expensive) to give away!

Creative art Process: we will participate in the creative arts process to open up visual channels of creative expression.

What to bring for our Winter Solstice journey:

-wear comfortable clothing for movement

-commitment to the entire experience

-bring plenty of water and water bottles

-bring a light snack to eat

-bring a small gift to give away (nothing expensive)

-bring magazines of your choice 

-no drugs or alcohol

-turn off cell phones
