This is a workshop exploring our power and essence through the natural elements. It’s a moving meditation from solid Earth through the heart, to the invisible Ether.
We'll start our journey walking on Earth in Flowing and facing the primordial Fear. Going deeper in our inner power, we’ll embrace Fire, expressing our internal flaming energy in Staccato to confront our Anger. We'll surrender to the powerful waves of Water to deeply surrender in Chaos and release our Sadness. To enjoy Air and the communal celebration of our renewed lightness in Lyrical and find the ecstatic revealing of Joy. To arrive and dissolve in Ether, in the invisible, in the emptiness, in unity, in Stillness. To finally embrace Compassion. An end just before a new beginning.
Join us in this travel through space, time and feelings, dancing the 5Rhythms, the Elements and the Emotions.
We dance to search, to remember, to feel, to find, to transform.
Alessandro Moruzzi and Vehllia Tranne are Certified 5Rhythms® Teachers Accredited by 5RTA (5Rhythms Teachers Association). They are the Founders of The City Waves San Francisco. Alessandro teaches Waves and Heartbeat; Vehllia teaches Waves is part of the next Heartbeat training.
Alessandro and Vehllia offer many years of experience in 5Rhythms, dance, music, theatre, performance, healing, spiritual practices and shamanism. They draw their inspiration from nature and the elements and the love of travel around the world, deeply connected to the ancestors. Their heartfelt offerings are intuitively crafted sharing deep experience and support for each dancer, holding a safe and transformational space for all. They currently reside in San Francisco, teaching in the Bay Area and around the world.
Everyone welcomed, no experience needed.
This counts as 1.5 day Waves & 1 day HeartBeat prerequisites on the teacher training path.
