With the 5Rhythms® as our root practice and supported by the fullness of the elements, we will embark on an embodied journey to take pause, reflect, purify, and set our sails for an inspired 2019.
Through daily practice and with our focus on sacred ways, we will prepare to step through the gate into next year fully alive, awake and in communion with our intents, prayers and visions.
Our home for these 7 days will be the raw, earthy magnificence of The Costa Rica Yoga Spa. On a mountain overlooking the breathtaking views of Nosara, supported by delicious whole foods, Yin Yoga, ceremony and dips into the ocean, we will dance ourselves to the root of our primal nature and rediscover our edges as well as our innate beauty.

:Monica Ramos: YinFluence Yoga
After discovering the practice of yoga at the Nosara Yoga Institute in 2001, Monica Ramos traveled to the Omega Institute in NY to investigate more on these ancient teachings. There she discovered alignment oriented Iyengar yoga (along with various styles of yoga asana), had her first 5 Rhythms experience and studied mindfulness with world renowned meditation teachers. This beginning set the foundation for curiosity in practice and refined an insightful teaching style, leading to the development of YINfluence, Yoga Improv and other one of a kind offerings. Monica's teaching has been described as playful, nurturing and inspirational, focused on opening the body through mobility of the spine, releasing tension throughout the body with micro movements & conscious breathe and most importantly, by meeting the body where it's at in the present moment. YINfluence is a blend of Yin, Restorative & gentle yoga. A sequenced, mindful flow of long held postures that stretch and stimulate the body’s deep connective tissue. The ideal compliment to the dynamic practice of 5 Rhythms.
When not on the mat, Monica enjoys time building sand castles at the beach with her 6 year old daughter Magenta and spending time on her motorbike at the Nosara Dirt Track.
