DESCRIPTION

We are born in an animal body made of flesh, blood, and potent vitality. Yet as we grow up much of our energy gets structured and blocked by the limitations of our culture, history, and beliefs, leading us to contain our intensity... Soon we are on auto pilot, or numb to our deeper emotions and sensations, and, eventually to love, connection and fun.

If you can't be raw and intense, can you be really tender? Can you access your truth, vulnerability and compassion?

During this weekend we will create a safe and spacious place to let our life force move through us again: fluid, vulnerable, fiery, free and funky.

Held by the Wave of the 5Rhythms® we will dance our way from the raw energy of our roots to the transcendent realm of stillness, amplifying our capacity for freedom, abandon, spontaneity and, yes, wild expression.

The energy of our group of kindred dancers will open us up to greater levels and variations of moving, feeling, and being. We then can reopen the possibility of dancing our vitality and sensuality with passion and joy.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
