You're welcome to join us on Friday 21st May for what will be my first in person class of 2021 and for a Saturday Waves-level workshop the day after called "Ocean of Possibilities".From a 5Rhythms lens, the whole planet has been dancing a Rhythm of Chaos for more than a year. With the hope of lockdown easing, some dancers are already starting to hear the distant call of Lyrical, like a melody emerging from a heavy, sweaty chaos beat. Some kind of Lyrical unfolding from this Chaos is inevitable! This will workshop provide tools for you to channel your own embodied wisdom as we ride the global wave from Chaos towards Lyrical.
Both the Friday open class and the Saturday workshop are suitable for beginners and experienced 5Rhythms dancers along with every other possibility in between and all around!
Numbers of dancers will be kept reduced for safety. It's hoped we'll be able to stream the music from the Friday class online to those who can't join us on the dancefloor in person. We're looking at the feasibility of streaming online from the Birchcliffe Centre. If you want to join us online, joining instructions will be sent the day before the event.
Mark Austin is a 5RTA registered and accredited 5Rhythms teacher.
