We all contain aspects, expressions, and energies that shine bright: parts that are welcome and rewarded during daylight hours. And we all contain aspects, expressions, and energies that are deeper and more mysterious: parts which are equally intelligent, vibrant, and necessary to our wholeness. We also have aspects and behaviours that we disown. Places we don't like to go. Parts that we feel we can't afford to acknowledge, within ourselves or in the world around us. These, we push into the shadows. In this weekend workshop, we will follow the maps of the 5Rhythms to explore and embody all of these realms, walking well-lit trails, exploring deeper parts of the forest, breathing life into forgotten places, and braiding the threads that make us whole.Joanne teaches 5Rhythms with a deep respect for the transformational nature of this practice, for the insight that this practice can bring to our daily lives, and for the unique discovery process of each participant. Her teaching is rooted in a lifelong engagement with her own study and personal work. Since 2001, she has held a steady space for the growth and evolution of a robust dance community in Victoria BC, and has shared her love of this practice with students across North America.

*Tiered pricing is available so that those of us with more can share, and those of us who could use some support can receive it. When you register at the rate that includes a Scholarship donation, a portion of your registration fee is applied toward another dancer's reduced-rate spot. COVID POLICIES
We expect any dancers experiencing cold/flu symptoms to stay home to care for themselves, and the rest of the group.
We will review our COVID risk mitigation policies one month prior to our workshop. At this point, we expect participants to rapid test prior to the workshop’s start.
Refund Policy
A full refund, less a $50 processing fee, will be issued if notice is received by Apr 7, 2023.
A full refund, less a $150 processing fee, will be issued if notice is received by Apr 21, 2023.
No refund will be issued for cancellations after Apr 21, 2023.*
(a 75% refund MAY be issued if the workshop is at capacity, and a replacement is registered)
*For cancellations up to 48 hrs prior to the workshop, due to testing positive or for a known exposure to COVID, we will offer you a refund less a $50 admin fee.
