Drawing from Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects and the 5Rhythms® dance practice, this workshop offers an embodied map for navigating the terrain of our times—nurturing our capacity to meet this moment with presence and purpose. Guided by the 5Rhythms—Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness—we will move through the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects.

We begin by grounding in gratitude, then open to our hearts’ expression for the state of our world and planet. Allowing our hearts to open, we’ll invite vision and possibility to emerge, and explore how each of us might begin to move forward—with the capacities we have, in connection with others. 

We will use movement, ritual, small-group connection, and embodied inquiry to listen to the Earth and one another and attune to the next right steps we’re called to take.

Together, we will cultivate the courage and imagination this moment asks of us—not in isolation, but in community. We will move from disconnection to belonging, from overwhelm to embodied presence, from paralysis to purposeful action.We don’t need a perfect plan; even small steps taken with intention can bring clarity, insight, and renewed energy.
