Freedom is an elusive concept, but somehow we all agree that we don’t have enough of it. Usually when we desire more freedom, we try to get more money so later we can “buy” our freedom. But to get more money we actually restrict ourselves. What if we chose to follow an entirely different path and we concentrate on our immediate freedom? We can practise everyday acts of free will. A different footstep, an unusual choice of clothes, a smile towards a stranger. If we practice these long enough then freedom will no longer be a concept: it will become our reality. Freedom is not theory, it is action.
