Guerilla Rhythms is a freestyle dive into 5 Rhythms where nothing is prepared in advance. There is no fixed rate and no advance bookings. It is all about who shows up on the day and the alchemy of our meeting. They’re always magical!

The venue, York Priory Street Centre YO1 6ET, is very close to York station and easily accessible from any direction. Bring a water bottle and some food to share for a pot-luck lunch, be ready to dance barefoot or in soft indoor shoes. Please commit to the whole event, dipping in for a bit doesn’t work. Chris Boylan has been studying 5 Rhythms for 19 years and has taught intensively since completing his training with Gabrielle Roth in 2008. He has a fun, welcoming, practical and down to earth approach to the practice.

The “pay what you feel” aspect keeps the dance accessible to all. If you are broke, pay what you can manage. If you are flush, a little extra helps support unpaid Reach Out work in other areas. As a guideline the usual day rate is £35 but you are welcome to pay as little or as much as you can manage; all payments are anonymous.

Times 11.00am- 5.30pm.

The venue is only a few minutes walk from the station and there may well be lift-shares from your area.
