Heartbeat makes art of the muck of life. Transforming feelings… Fear to Courage, Anger to Clarity, Sadness to Respectful Release, so that Joy and Compassion come naturally.

In Waves classes, we dance the 5Rhythms time and time again, so that we deepen our capacity to be fluid and grounded with everything that life reveals to us.

Sometimes we find ourselves on the dance floor in a puddle of tears or experiencing moments of rage or even despair. This is a natural and normal experience. We can spiral into resistance, shame and apathy or we can use movement to access our true power.

This Heartbeat Introduction will provide you with the embodiment tools to respect and transform these emotional moments. This is a life changing practice.

Heartbeat® work enables us to claim the vital energy of old unacknowledged feelings and be surprised and refreshed by new ones. We learn to “lean in” and not resist or indulge our emotional world.

In this workshop we will dance a lot and witness each other, moving with Fear, Anger, Sadness, Joy and Compassion. This fosters acceptance for the vital energy that emotion gifts us.

This workshop offers an allocation of tickets at different price points i.e. ‘Tiers‘.

We have a broad range of financial capacity in our community. Please reflect on what you are able to pay and choose accordingly, keeping in mind that there are a limited number of tickets at the lowest price.

If you need a reduced price to attend, please purchase Tier 1. Payment plans can be arranged. If this would support your attendance please write to us at 5Rhythms@movingessence.com.

If you can afford a bit more, please choose from Tier 2 or 3. There will be an allocation of tickets for each tier and the number of tickets remaining will display in the checkout below.

One additional tier ‘pay it forward’ invites members of our dance community to join us in creating subsidised places for those who need it. There will be bursary places available so please write to us if you need a subsidised place to be able to attend.
