Long before therapy happened one-to-one behind closed doors, humans gathered in circles to grieve, celebrate, witness one another, and make meaning of life's transitions.

While individual healing is important, this workshop recognizes that there are forms of healing that can only emerge in relationship. Through the collective wisdom and Self Energy of the group, we can awakened to the shared human experiences that can soothe our wounding of "separateness".

Holding the Circle explores this intersection of communal healing practices, movement, and embodied Parts work.Blending 5Rhythms® dance, Somatic Internal Family Systems, IFS Healing Circles, and Ritual Theatre, this workshop explores how our Parts live in our bodies, how our inner landscape shapes the way we show up in relationship, and how group relationship itself becomes a powerful catalyst for healing, belonging, and transformation.

This weekend workshop moves between dance and reflection, allowing time not only to explore, but also to integrate. Partner and group exercises are always optional and offered with room to rest or modify your participation as needed.

No previous experience with 5Rhythms® or IFS is necessary—only a willingness to move, to be curious, and to discover what becomes possible when we remember that healing doesn't have to happen alone.

The days will include:

- 5Rhythms® dance and guided movement

- Somatic IFS parts mapping, often with journaling or quiet reflection

- Partner and small-group explorations (like sculpts) that make it possible to externalize parts and work with them in a more relational, embodied way

- Some ritual theatre as a way to integrate and give form to what’s been explored
