Having an intimate relationship with another human being is one of our fundamental needs and deepest desires; we long for connection and intimacy. At the same time we are quite afraid of it ...
Intimacy opens a landscape of vulnerability, of showing who we reallyare, in stead of what we consider to be the best part of us. We tend to conceal 1001 things -for others and for ourselves- sometimes without even being aware of it, while intimacy can only evolve where hiding disappears.
Intimacy is about showing all of us; the bright and shiny and the dark and shadowy alike. To experience intimacy we need to bring all of us into the light, also our shadowy, hidden parts; in the spotlight we can make peace with them; become whole and one.
In this weekend we will move, dance, share, sweat, cry, laugh -heal ourselves; open up into tender, dynamic and creative energy; we will hide and seek, uncover and reveal, step by step finding our way into the Rhythms of Intimacy.
