LOOK UP Venice | Silent Disco 5Rhythms® with Henya Emmer
Part meditation. Part dance. Part living art.
Become part of the art.
What happens when we step out of the role of observer and become part of the art?
As part of the LOOK UP Times Square Venice Conference & Closing Celebration, in collaboration with the European Cultural Centre’s Personal Structures 2026 exhibition, join us for a 5Rhythms® Silent Disco led by New York City-based movement facilitator and DJ Henya Emmer.
LOOK UP is an invitation to shift perspective, spark creativity, and connect with the world around us. Through the 5Rhythms, we bring that invitation into the body.
What does it mean to LOOK UP?
To LOOK UP is to open ourselves to a new perspective—to notice the art around us, the people beside us and the possibilities within us. Through 5Rhythms®, we bring this question into motion, exploring how movement can awaken our attention, spark creativity and deepen our connection to ourselves and one another.
As you dance, consider: What does it mean to LOOK UP—for you? Let your response emerge through movement, curiosity and the simple experience of being present.
Surrounded by art in a garden of sculptures, with the Venice waterfront as our backdrop, we’ll step out of our heads, into our bodies and explore the art of being fully present.
With music flowing through wireless headphones, Henya will guide us on a journey through the Rhythms, inviting us to follow the music, explore our own expression and see where the dance takes us.
No 5Rhythms or dance experience is necessary.
All are welcome, subject to advance registration and availability.
