The journey into and through Menopause is an enormous shift in a woman’s life. So many emotions accompany the changes that can occur in body, mind and spirit during this time, ranging from terror to rage to elation. Many of us endure in silence for fear of upsetting family, the work place, not to mention admiting that we are aging and are mortal. How can we embrace the experience, honor it and elevate it to a vital Rite of Passage? 

In this workshop, we openly meet our fear, anger, grief, joy and compassion, giving it space in our bodies and hearts, befriending the feelings instead of denying, resisting or perpetuating them. By embodying the energy of our emotions, we have the opportunity to release our hold on them and their hold on us. We consciously transform refusal into acceptance, overwhelm into strength. Held in a safe circle of Sisterhood, we will co-create a sacred space to value this important stage of our lives and emerge empowered and enlivened.
