River of Sorrow - Opening the Sadness Maps. Live music from Joseph Caswell.Allowing the energy of sadness to find expression and release in our dances, as well as all the other feelings awoken by loss - however slight or life changing. You might be dancing with individual and collective sorrow.
Following weight and softening in our movement, taking our time to see what unfolds, embodying acceptance, trust and dignity.
This weekend will include some time outside with the river and the sea, letting our wishes and feelings be carried by water into a greater whole.
AANTEKENINGEN
Newport, Pembrokeshire is a beautiful place with campsites and lots of other accommodation if you are travelling to dance with us.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
