5Rhythms five-day Waves Workshop

Each day follows a rhythm of its own - Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Ether -

the natural arc of the 5Rhythms practice.

There are no steps to learn, only your body's impulses to follow - using movement to process emotion, release what's stored, and access states beyond the thinking mind.

Earth (Flowing) - the feminine current: grounding, softening, finding your feet and your breath in the present moment.

Fire (Staccato) - the masculine current: heartbeat, boundaries, precision, and the release of what's held - met by the heat of the temazcal.

Water (Chaos) - the dissolving of both: surrender, letting go of control, the feminine and masculine merging into pure release - flowing into the cenote's waters and into the Mayan Womb Cleansing Ceremony and Emotional Healing Massage.

Air (Lyrical) - the feminine returning, lighter now: play, spontaneity, and the joy of being fully alive in the body - carrying us into Chichén Itzá.

Ether (Stillness) - beyond gender, beyond form: presence, integration, and the quiet that holds everything that came before.

Each day includes 3–4 hours on the dance floor, woven around the retreat's ceremonial and healing offerings.

Over five days, we move through the full arc again and again - deepening our relationship with each rhythm's quality and its masculine/feminine currents, shedding old patterns, meeting what's unresolved, and returning to a more embodied way of being. 

By the final day, the wave completes itself, and so do we - with Ritual Ceremony.

At Sacred Waters Retreat, this practice is the heartbeat of the container - a daily return to the dance floor as a place of release, discovery, and integration, held alongside the ceremonial and healing work of the retreat.
