This is an invitation to move together in person with the healing maps of the 5Rhythms, in this beautiful theatre space in Balham, South London.
7.30pm-9.30pm
(Entry at 7.20pm / Doors close at 7.45pm)

Mental Health Bursaries - we can offer 5 consecutive weeks of free places for anyone who identifies as having mild or moderate mental health issues AND who lives or works in Lambeth AND is new to the dance or is coming back from a long break. **about 5Rhythms and this class**
Our bodies are full of the wisdom and creativity needed to move through these changing and often challenging times. This class is a space to discover, stretch, release, energise, shake off, lighten, and land inside your body. The 5rhythms is a simple yet profound practice that helps us move from one state of being to another with no dance experience needed - all that is required is a willingness and a curiosity to set your body in motion. The rest will be revealed.
5Rhythms can be experienced by anyone regardless of their physical limitations. There are no specific moves to learn and dancers can participate at their own pace, within their own capacity to move.
Beginners are welcome!

please note entrance to the school is via Boundaries Road through the main green gates and then the side gate to your right - that will be open - follow the path round to your left (around the side of the building) and enter the building through the south building open double doors , turn first right and walk down towards the canteen - the theatre is first set of double doors on the left - (before the canteen ) we will have someone on the door to welcome you

please be on time
we will keep the doors open for lateness until 7.45
Please bring:
loose comfortable clothes you feel good to move in
we dance barefoot or soft soled shoes (no outdoor shoes on dancefloor)
a filled, reusable water bottle

Refund Policy
Numbers are limited to give us space to dance comfortably together. Please be generous if you can, a full price ticket helps us offer reduced and concession places. thank you. 10% of ticket sales are contributed to our community interest company which supports our reach out work. For these reasons we don't give refunds, however dancers are permitted to transfer their ticket to another Wednesday (up to 6pm day of the dance) or they can gift/sell on their ticket
