BESCHRIJVING

In this monthly class for men, we will try on the many shapes of the masculine we have each absorbed and practiced, tapping our body intelligence to sift through and move the stories and patterns, and distilling the essence of our present awareness of masculine energy into embodied action. We will explore embodied masculinity and all its meaning and resonance for each of us through the lens of the body, in movement, and guided by the wisdom and expansiveness of the 5Rhythms Waves map. The mature masculine will be revealed in all its depth, fullness, and reverberation. As we move together, each with our own experience, a reinforcement of what is universally true can emerge in the synchronous vibrations of our individual expressions.

This class is for all abilities, no previous experience needed, no choreography; and is for any person who identifies as male.

What to Bring: Water. Bare Feet. Comfortable clothing you can move in. Curiosity.

Classes will be held at Studio Annex in the IX building. The studio floor is a brand new Harlequin sprung dance floor system! The studio is located between Portico Church and Studio IX. The physical address is: 971 2nd Street SE.
