BESCHRIJVING

Each person has their own unique relationship with the sensations in their body when

moving and dancing with a group of people. By exploring around and inside our bodies consciously and playfully we shift our

attention to different and new areas we’ve never noticed before. Essentially we are

taking ourselves apart while walking, moving and dancing in order to put ourselves back

together again as integrated moving beings .

By moving and dancing to the beat of the 5Rhythms the music will

guide us in discovering the creative power of the 5Rhythms , Flowing, Staccato , Chaos,

Lyrical , and Stillness. The tools we’ll use are breathing, grounding, centering, balance, play

and discovery. Our focus will be to tune in closely to our sensorial experiences and our creative

impulses while moving alone , with a partner or in a group. Our mission will be to

discover play, creativity and well being in our movement, to visualize and sense our actual

physical anatomy, to effortlessly integrate this new awareness, and to use it as a springboard

to create new expanded movement possibilities in our daily lives.
