A Movement Workshop Through Imagination, Play & Possibility
As the season turns and the veil between worlds grows thin, we are invited to notice what quietly lives beneath the surface.
Shadow Play is a two-day movement workshop rooted in the 5Rhythms® Shadow Map—a playful, embodied invitation to explore the hidden landscapes of the body through movement, expressive arts, imagination, and live music.
Rather than naming or analyzing what we discover, we'll allow the body to lead. The Shadow Map becomes a compass rather than a prescription, guiding us with curiosity as we move between each rhythm's shadow and its essential nature. Together, we'll create space for what naturally emerges, trusting that the body's wisdom often arrives before words can explain it.
Each rhythm offers a different doorway. As we dance, create, witness, and play, we'll begin to recognize familiar patterns—not to fix or overcome them, but to meet them with openness. Through movement and imagination, we'll experiment with new possibilities, expanding our movement vocabulary while deepening our relationship with ourselves and one another.

Join 5Rhythms® accredited teacher and Somatic Expressive Artist Alyssa Jurewicz Johns, playwright, director, and Jungian Analyst, Lena Rose Williams, and musician, producer, and dancer Drew Bayura for a weekend of movement, creativity, play, and embodied discovery.
Not everything hidden needs to be explained.

Refund Policy
Because Shadow Play is an intimate workshop with limited space, each registration represents a meaningful commitment to the container we are creating together.
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the workshop will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.
Cancellations made 10–29 days before the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds can be offered for cancellations made within 10 days of the workshop, as your space has been reserved and it is often difficult to fill on short notice.
If the workshop is sold out and we are able to fill your place from the waitlist, we will gladly refund your registration, less the $25 administrative fee.
If you're unable to attend, you're also welcome to transfer your registration to another person with advance notice.
In the unlikely event that the workshop is canceled by the facilitators, you will receive a full refund.
Life happens. If an unexpected circumstance arises, please reach out. While I can't guarantee an exception to this policy, I'll always do my best to find a solution that is fair whenever possible.
