Meredith Davies

Meredith Davies worked as a therapist and creative dance facilitator in the mental health and disability arts before training with Gabrielle Roth in the USA in 2001. She taught 5Rhythms in Europe and America and has now been teaching weekly classes and workshops in Melbourne and around Australia for nearly 20 years. In 2015 she trained as a 5R Heartbeat teacher with Gabrielle’s son, Jonathon Horan, and in 2019 she completed a Heartbeat Refresh. With her husband David Juriansz, together as Moving Essence, they have helped make Melbourne an international mecca for the 5Rhythms practice mentoring students, trainees and teachers. Meredith’s dedication, passion and enticing style is quite simply, an invitation into the healing power of movement

Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms are taught all over the world and Moving Essence started the first weekly classes in Melbourne 20 years ago. Workshops offer a deeper experience of this life changing practice.

For dancers who can afford to pay full price.

For dancers who can afford to pay full price plus a little extra to help another dancer out,

$40 – FRIDAY NIGHT DANCE ONLY (limited places)

This evening dance is both the beginning of the workshop and open to a small number of dancers to have a one-night experience of 5Rhythms and a taster of the weekend workshop.
