5Rhythms is a catalytic movement practice, danced in classes all around the world. It's based on the rhythms and cycles of nature, inviting us to activate and settle, to ebb and flow, and to realign our inner and our outer energies. We dance through the rhythms flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness to experience the peaks and troughs of the wave, to rehearse and re-establish the fluctuations in our creative flow, and to practice mindful and 'bodyful' movements that stretch us, and finesse our expression through the full spectrum of possibilities.
Come dance through the 5Rhythms waves - regularly in Tassie! Natalie Poole is offering a longer Sweat Your Prayers Class in May, August and October. Deva O'Wheel offers a Sweats in Dodges Ferry weekly on a Wednesday.
All new and experienced movers are welcome - this is a spiralling learning process - jump in from wherever you are. Just come and move your feet to the music, the rest will follow.
