Emotional energy is at the core of how we experience life. Like many people, I’ve spent much of my life trying to make sense of big feelings. I’ve always been curious about how we manage our emotional energy—especially the moments we feel stuck, and the ways we try to cope.
Growing up in a small northern town in England, I often looked for ways to escape, through heavy drug use or by throwing myself into creativity. Then, in 2012, a deep personal loss changed everything. Suddenly, finding meaning in life became urgent.
That search led me to my first 5Rhythms class in 2015—and something in me clicked. I felt alive and connected in a way I never had before. Over the next few years, I kept coming back to the dance floor, finding healing through movement.
In 2018, I trained as a 5Rhythms Spaceholder and began offering conscious movement
