OPIS

We are always in relationship, be it with ourselves, with someone else, with whatever I come in contact with, or what is in my environment. The 5Rhythms practice includes dancing alone, with a partner, in small groups, and with the whole “tribe”. In relating through movement, many questions may arise, for example: · Can I stay with myself and not get distracted by others? · Am I good enough? · How will the other respond – or not respond? · Can I ask for more – or let it go? · You will have your own questions to add to this investigation. Movement reveals our ways of relating to ourselves and others and allows us to access a wealth of embodied knowledge that is both healing and informative. In this workshop we will focus on how we relate to another, and how we connect or disconnect. We will use the dance as a metaphor for how we make relationship. We will meet our patterns in movement, the easy places and the difficult places, opening up to the possibility of fully embracing ourselves as a relating, interrelated human being.
