In this workshop the invitation is to find the intimacy with our fear of being our own true self, vulnerable and strong and exploring how that is affecting our meeting with another soul.

The more intimate we can be with our body and its movements, the more we are creating a good ground for intimacy with our heart and its movements.

How can we be sensitive to all the nuances of our emotions?

Express them even when they cannot be described; letting them go through us and transform; bringing them into the light of our own compassion?

At the same time holding our own heart by the hand and reaching somebody else.

Silvija Tomčik is a certified 5Rhythms teacher who was introduced 25 years ago to Gabrielle Roth’s teachings by reading her book “Maps to Ecstasy”. It was a powerful encounter, which motivated Silvija to search for 5Rhythms teachers around the world with whom she wished to dance. Since then she has organising many 5Rhythms workshops in Croatia and Slovenia, bringing 5Rhythms for the first time to that part of the world while she continued to work in the Center for Peace Studies, leading workshops on gender issues.

She graduated at the Waves Teacher Training with Gabrielle Roth in 2001, and in 2010 in the Heartbeat Teacher Training.

She is greatly appreciated around the world where she teaches for her creative imagination, the great variety of music she uses and her grounded way of dancing and teaching. She has a deep love for the freedom of being in the body and prompts people to discover their own personal dance and healing movement. She Lives in Zagreb with her husband Thierry Francois, also a 5R Teacher and their children.
