In the beginning, there was movement.

Before words existed, before we learned to tell stories, we moved.

As time passes, our body-minds begin to create narratives, form beliefs, and make judgments. This is a beautiful, necessary, and natural capacity – an inseparable part of who we are. At the same time, the more deeply we become absorbed in these stories, losing touch with our bodies, our direct experience, and the ever-present Silence, the more we suffer.

This weekend workshop offers a space to return to what we are beyond words – to reconnect with the body, the breath, and movement, where there is nothing you need to know or perform. It is enough that you have a body and that you breathe.

5Rhythms® is a movement practice that knows no boundaries of age, experience, or ability. It is a dance free from choreography, guiding us through five energetic qualities: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness.

This is an invitation for everyone – whether you are completely new to the practice or have been dancing for years. On this path, each of us is both a beginner and deeply experienced at the same time.

In dance, we return home. To ourselves. To the body that remembers.

To the rhythm and movement that have always been with us – and will remain with us until our final breath.
