An afternoon/evening workshop of creativity, connection, and community.
5Rhythms dance accompanied by live improvised music, circle singing, and sound healing will be our modalities in this workshop, encouraging free expression through movement and sound and a return to the source of wellbeing.
A 5Rhythms wave channelled by four musicians is a very different experience to a wave that uses recorded music: the sounds of kora, cello, clarinet, flute, voice and plenty of percussion will both lead and respond to your dance, co-creating the alchemic wonder that is movement medicine.
Incorporated into the workshop will be the opportunity for vocal sounding through Circle Singing - an ancient and contemporary approach to singing with others. When we sing together without a song or a composer, these roles become shared in the moment with spontaneously created music and emergent shared leadership, involving deep listening to self and others and the space in between. No experience necessary. Led by musician Patrick Carpenter.
Into the workshop, we will also incorporate a sound bath journey led by musician Storme Watson.

Refund Policy
To ensure fairness and transparency, please review the refund policy below:
1. Cancellation by Participant
•Up to 2 Weeks Before the Workshop:
Participants who cancel their booking 2 weeks prior to the workshop start date will receive a full refund, minus a [£X] administrative fee (if applicable).
•Within 13 Days of the Workshop:
Cancellations made within 13 days of the workshop are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation by Organisers
•In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by Live Rhythms, participants will receive a full refund of the workshop fee.
•If rescheduling is possible, participants will have the option to transfer their booking to the new date or receive a refund.
3. No-Show Policy
•Refunds will not be issued for participants who fail to attend the workshop without prior notice.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
•Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Payment Processing
•Refunds will be processed within 1 week of the cancellation request being approved. Payments will be returned via the original payment method.
