It’s not about running the fastest —it’s about running the longest.
Pegasus, the mythical winged horse of Greek mythology, is a symbol of freedom, power, and the eternal spring of imagination and creativity. He carried gods and heroes into great victories — not through haste, but through sustained strength and devotion to the journey.
This retreat is an exploration of how to keep our inner fire alive over time.
How to honor the need for movement while respecting the necessity of rest and recovery.
How to move with passion without burning out.
Like the horse who is not afraid of slowness — but of stillness — we will learn how to ground our fire, allowing it to sustain us rather than consume us.
Through the 5Rhythms practice — Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness — supported by live music, we explore:
* How to ground action, courage, identity, and initiation
* How to embody intuition rather than dissolving into dreams
* How vision becomes movement, and imagination becomes form
This is a space where spiritual imagination turns into an active force — where inspiration meets initiative, and inner vision finds expression in the world.

Intuitive insights shift from passive longing into embodied action.

Identity, individuality, and self-expression are given space and energy.

We will be supported and nurtured by the wild, unspoiled Romanian nature.
+++ We will be supported and assisted throughout by Piero with his live drumming and creative use of other instruments to enhance our exploration.

This workshop counts as 3 days Waves practice towards professional 5Rhythms teacher training.

- with limited places in the center's building, please note there are several beds in a room (4-6): 25 Euro per night per person.
- or in a tent that you need to bring (more places). Limited tents are available for hire (at an additional cost). Tent accommodation donation: 15 Euro per night per person with access to summer kitchen and showers/ toilets.
Finding your own accommodation in the area is also an option, in 23 August village or in the nearby resort Olimp.
For international dancers: you can fly to Bucharest and take the train until a nearby train station Costinesti.
There are about 2 km from the main road to the dance location and from location to the sea, so it may be useful to have/ rent a car. If not, we will communicate before the workshop for sharing the ride so everyone arrives on time to the workshop.
Price for the workshop, (without accommodation or food):
240 Euro with very early bird by June 15th
260 Euro with early bird by August 15th
280 Euro after August 15th
A non-refundable deposit of 60 EUR / 310 lei is required upon registration in order to reserve your place at the workshop and to benefit from the Very/ Early Bird price. The remaining amount must be paid at the latest 2 weeks before the workshop.
Group discount available, if paying together:
- For 2 people paying together: 5% discount each
- For 3 people paying together: 10% discount each
- For 4+ people paying together: 15% discount each
This workshop is open to all. No previous experience is necessary, but we recommend to attend and least one 5Rhythms class or workshop prior to this retreat. We are waiting for you!
