This workshop brings together two professional methods. 5Rhythms® for movement meditation and Somatic Experiencing® to recognize and proces trauma.Movement works like medicine on the body. Sometimes through minute movements, sometimes through large and excessive ones. In this spectrum of movement, with proper attention, healing can occur.
In this weekend we use 5Rhythms dance as our basis for movement. In addition, we will use elements of Somatic Experiencing and we will focus on resilience and self-regulation. We will be personal, sharing some of our impeding life stories that are ready for change and movement. We will create a circle with safe boundaries for exploration and witnessing.
This is an Elective level workshop in the 5Rhythms curriculum. Read more about it on the support pages of Ron's website. There is no need to become a teacher for participation. This workshop is open to everyone, with and without experience in 5Rhythms.

Elective workshops combine the 5Rhythms practice with other disciplines. These workshops hold true to the 5Rhythms Maps and weave in deep investigations that compliment the teachings. This workshop will count as an Elective on the 5Rhythms Dancing Path towards Teacher Training.
