You are welcome to join us for an opportunity to explore Stillness, the most mysterious of all of the Rhythms. We’ll explore through the Waves map, how the other rhythms prepare the ground for moving with Stillness. We’ll also discover 5Rhythms techniques that can bring more embodied presence, unity and gratitude into our lives.“The fastest way to still the mind is to move the body” – Gabrielle Roth
This will be the first ever offering of “Still Moving”, the third of a triptych of workshops that have been offered internationally in four countries. This workshop and the other two, “Ground and Sky” and “Ocean of Possibilities” can be completed in any order, each standing alone as a complete workshop in its own right.
There will be an open class with the Cumbria Tribe on Friday evening and a full day Waves level workshop on Saturday. Beginners are welcome at both the open class and the workshop.
For those who optionally want to remain after the workshop until Sunday, you’re very welcome to join Mark for an easy to moderate walk (about 3 hours) from the banks of Lake Thirlmere where the workshop will take place, to a neolithic / early Bronze Age stone circle (constructed circa 3200BC). Both the walk and the stones will be an opportunity to further integrate the mystery of Stillness. The stones are thought to be amongst the oldest stone circles in Europe and their true purpose remains a mystery. Given their historical significance, surprisingly little is known about them and they have never been scientifically dated.
Friday open class is £15.
Saturday workshop (including the optional Sunday hike) is currently £50 (earlybird) and will be £60 full price.
There are affordable camping options inside the hall (£10 per night with showers and kitchen facilities) or on the grounds around the hall if you prefer to camp in a tent with access to the facilities.
Because Mark is fully 5RTA accredited and registered, the class and workshop hours from the weekend count towards 5Rhythms Teacher Training Waves prerequisites.
