A Voice & 5Rhythms Weekend Immersion

Step into the transformative energy of the Autumn Equinox - time of balance between light and dark - through the powerful fusion of 5Rhythms dance and authentic voice work.

Join facilitators Irem Luqman and Gavin Frank for a soulful weekend of embodied movement and vocal expression, where we explore these practices both in their own right and in creative union.

Whether you're new or experienced, this weekend offers a safe, dynamic space to move, sound, release, and reconnect.

~Dance the 5Rhythms Waves: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness

~Explore your voice through vocal maps, free vocal improvisation, chant, and mantra

About your facilitators:

Irem Luqman:

Irem has Pakistani roots, was born in London, and now lives in Oxford where she holds weekly 5Rhythms classes. Her obsession with dance began as a child when she discovered that the body could express so much more than words alone, but it was only upon discovering the 5Rhythms that she realised the full potential of this expression.

In 2015, Irem trained as a 5Rhythms Spaceholder which allowed her to hold regular 5Rhythms Sweats in Reading and Guildford, UK, until finally becoming an accredited teacher in 2021.

Gavin Frank:

Gavin is a voice coach, Kirtan leader and musician and has been empowering people to find their voice for more than 25 years. He records with the duo Madrum and they have made 3 albums.
