OPIS

We often hold our voice back, an we do it in may different ways and for multitude of reasons. Whether we don’t allow ourselves to sing, having attitude on the quality of our performance, or trying to be nice and polite we don’t add voice to our experience of pleasure, pain, contentment, frustration, we don’t make sounds crying or laughing…, or maybe we even don’t appreciate and value our voice on a more symbolic level believing we don’t have anything to say…

And holding our voice back, we close our hearts

In this workshop, as always in this practice, we will use movement to anchor our experience and exploration in an alive body. Dance that awakens, connects and realigns different aspects of our being. We will invite our heart into that dance, allowing it to soften, express itself, open, close, shatter, reassemble, heal… This time inviting our voice as well, with an intention to root it in the depths of our heart, thus cleaning and empowering this channel for expressing our truth.

PREREQUISITES: 5Rhythms Waves (minimum 5 hours)
This workshop counts for 5Rhythms Teacher Training prerequisites

Tuition: 100€
Early bird: 85€ before October 1st

Limited places in work study group - 60€
*50€ for certified 5R teachers, spaceholders, and teachers in training.

Friday 19:00 - 21:30
Saturday and Sunday 11:00 - 18:00 (with an hour long break)

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
