This open 5Rhythms Waves class will be inspired by the Tribal music, Tribal dances, Tribal wisdom. One of the gifts of dancing 5Rhythms is that feeling of belonging, to yourself and to the dance and to the group. BILJEŠKE
5Rhythms is a dance and movement practice created by Gabrielle Roth; now taught by many teachers around the world. The 5Rhythms are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. They make up what is known as "The Wave"; a deep, moving, physical meditation. We learn this basic movement practice, sometimes with ease, sometimes with a challenge, taking us ever deeper into the human psyche. By learning to tune into each rhythm we are able to explore what needs to move within us. This ongoing healing practice will move us and hold us. It carries a beat, it is funky and it is real.
