Reclamation – when we dance the 5Rhythms® waves we are reclaiming ourselves as sacred beings and acknowledging the true value and purpose of dance in our lives. The ancients danced. They danced to create community. They danced for healing and transformation. They danced to invoke - to physicalize into being. They danced for self-expression and they danced to create joy!This daylong workshop is for newcomers and experienced practitioners alike, offering both basic instruction and the opportunity to dance your unique relationship with the Wave. There are no steps to learn; the Rhythms can be practiced by a person of any age, shape or ability. It will also double as the launch event for a new regular series of 5Rhythms® Sweats in Milwaukee with Krista Shabtaie mentored by Kierra Foster-Ba.
