Hearbeat Elements - with Sylvie MinotUsing the elements of earth, fire, water, air and ether as resources, we invite our emotions into the dance and journey with them through the 5Rhythms wave. When we dance with fear, anger, sadness, joy and compassion we explore the fluid possibilities of our expressions. Giving these emotions shapes, voice allows us to release the stories from the emotion, unlocking the heart and its limitless power to heal.
Sylvie can be described as a shapeshifter, a master of perception, and a catalyst. Her teaching is anchored in the body, and yet reaches into the spiritual. Sylvie draws on a wealth of embodied experience working in addiction recovery, rehab and hospital settings, as well as medicine circle groups in the USA, Mexico and Australia. Sylvie teaches from the heart with a firm grounding, loads of warmth and humility, and a touch of magic. Sylvie has recently completed her Masters in Theology and brings her spiritual sensibility into her dance teaching practice.
This will be Sylvie’s second teaching trip to Australia.

An opportunity to work one on one with Sylvie or have individual work but in small groups to deepen and integrate your experience on the Monday
private session $350 for 90 mins
small group $220 per person 3-6 people (3-4 hours)
(If finances are not fluid - please note the early bird options, or inquire about being part of the work exchange and sliding scale for committed dancers.)
All hours with Sylvie count towards the 5Rhythms teacher training path.
