This class is about dancing as if nobody’s watching.
You do not need any experience in dance - only a desire to move your body and a willingness to explore - if you have a body then you are dancer already! This is a space to dance your dance, after all, if you don't to your dance who will?
Generally we begin the class with a warm-up to simply stretch your body and to allow yourself to relax into movement. You will then be guided through a 'wave' of music and movement, being guided by the 5 Rhythms of the practice - Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness throughout which you have the opportunity to simply create your own dance movements.
Sometimes you will be dancing on you own, and there may also be occasions where you will be invited to dance with a partner or in a small group
