The Space invites you to give expression to your movements through intuitive painting. This is not creation from the level of thought, but rather from your inner intuition and guidance.

We’ll move through the session in cycles: approximately ten minutes of dance followed by ten minutes of painting, repeating as we travel through the five rhythms. Rather than stopping to think about what to paint, you’ll carry the energy and sensation of each rhythm directly from the dance floor to the wall, allowing your hands to express what your body has just discovered.

And there’s a twist: none of the paintings belong to just one person.

All twelve stations – each one ready with its own large sheet of paper taped to the wall, along with colored chalk pastels, charcoal, tempera paint, brushes, and pencils – are shared by the whole group. Throughout the class, everyone moves from station to station, adding their mark to artwork others have already begun.

By the end, twelve collaborative paintings will emerge, each one holding traces of the collective movement, energy, intuition, and presence of the entire group. There is no need to finish “your” piece and no ownership to protect. Instead, the paintings become a visual conversation, like the way we dance with one another. One person’s Chaos layered over another’s Flowing, one moment of Stillness resting beside someone else’s Lyrical expression – it will all result in works of beauty.
