VISIONPulse is born from a desire to go deeper into the dance in a drop-in context.
It’s a conscious dance space rooted in focussed movement practice as a pathway to liberation.
The intention is also to cultivate and grow a regular space where we can connect, journey, and use the dance to move through whatever is arising that month: in our lives and in the wider context.
STRUCTURE
The sessions usually feature a warm-up, some teaching and a dancing journey through the Waves. There are invitations to connect with other dancers and move in the group field – along with full encouragement to be who you are in the moment.
These dances are open: you can come to one, some, or all – as you like or are able.
And: there is an invitation is to participate regularly and be part of co-creating a space that holds depth, connection and continuity in the dance. A bundle discount is offered to dancers booking all the sessions in a series at once.
MAPS
The teaching framework for Pulse is The Way of the Dancer, Christian’s evolving synthesis of 5Rhythms and Movement Medicine with Taoist, Animist and contemporary Subcultural approaches to the dancefloor and community ritual space.
Pulse is open to anyone wanting to dance: bodies are welcomed in all embodiments of ability, shape, gender, ethnicity, neuronature, age and culture. Prior experience of conscious dance practice can be helpful but is not essential.
If you’re new to this kind of dancing, please let us know on the day so we can orient you.
NOTAS
Refund Policy
If you cancel 30 days or more before the event: a refund will be offered minus a cancellation fee of £25.
If you cancel 3-29 days before the event: we will offer a 50% refund if we can fill your place.
If you cancel in the 72 hours before the start time of the event or do not attend, refunds will only be offered in exceptional circumstances and at our discretion. In most situations, you have the possibility of selling your ticket on directly. However please note this depends on the event / circumstances and is at our discretion. In all cases, please communicate to check and let us know you are doing this.
In the unlikely event that Christian needs to cancel, your payment will be refunded in full. We cannot accept liability for other costs you may have incurred.
