RHYTHMS IN RITUAL WITH HENYA EMMER (NYC)

Join us on Thursday, January 8th for an evening of nourishment for the body and soul. This New Year's offering led by 5Rhythms facilitator Henya Emmer (NYC) invites us to drop into practice - to release, soften, and ground into presence through the gifts of movement and stillness. Henya will guide us through the Rhythms, joined by Maria dropping us into stillness through a sound healing journey.

💫 Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to movement or meditation, this gathering will offer something unique and meaningful for your body, mind, and spirit.

💫There are no steps to learn and the Rhythms can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age, fitness, ability, or experience

💫 Rhythms in Ritual is a movement journey in NYC led by Henya + Guests, combining the 5Rhythms Movement Meditation practice, with rituals, ceremonies, and practices like sound baths, breath-work, cacao, voice channeling, and more. Each month, exploring a new intention, theme and ritual, weaving together 5Rhythms with a different practice and guest artist, each offering an invitation to dive deeper into the body’s wisdom, to release what no longer serves us, and to connect to our true selves. We are grateful she is bringing this practice to Cleveland!

💫 About Henya Emmer: Henya is an accredited certified 5Rhythms® Movement Meditation Teacher, DJ, and Event Producer. She facilitates dynamic, embodied experiences, and is committed to creating spaces for people to drop in deep to the beat, to move, and be moved. Henya is based in Brooklyn, New York, and offers movement classes and workshops in NYC and worldwide.

💫 About Maria: Maria Perme, holistic healer, movement facilitator and sound practitioner has been teaching yoga and movement for over 20 years. 💫 About 5Rhythms: Created by Gabrielle Roth, 5Rhythms is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put psyche in motion it will heal itself - a dynamic way to both workout and to meditate in the same breath. The Rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness form ‘The Wave’, an embodied journey that encourages us to find our own dance and to discover ourselves at our most fluid and creative level. While a seemingly simple process, the 5Rhythms practice facilitates deep and unending explorations, moving the dancer beyond self-imposed limitations and isolation into new depths of creativity and connection.
