Certificado profesora 5Ritmos

One Friday night in 2009 I ended up on a 5Rhythms floor in NYC with Tammy Burstein and I knew exactly where I was: HOME. My essence was called to the surface by the beat. I utilized the map of the rhythms to become adept at shifting into the vast energetic currents of my interactions. Tapping into the cyclical rhythms of the wave, I developed somatic tools that enabled me to act and communicate with integrity and clarity. A lost dialog with my body began to emerge. From this conversation, I created awareness and welcomed compassion that supported my life-long healing journey.

The dance floor became my teacher. Other dancers were moving mirrors from which I was able to reflect and heal unhealthy patterns in my life. I invited my fears of abandonment and mistrust into my dances and fully explored them with tenderness and passion. I slow-danced with the wounds of the past and let my body speak her story.

The rhythm of flowing taught me to trust and honor my body. Through the rhythm of Staccato I stomped my feet and screamed out my childhood anger. Chaos gave me permission to release endless streams of tears, clearing sorrow and confusion from my soul. Dancing Lyrical gifted me the tools to be light and flexible with myself, as well as others. In Stillness I discovered my connection to the universe and Spirit.

The deep dance of the Wave cleared the pathway to my essence and this is where my own creative blossoming began.
