The practice of the 5Rhythms has been a thread through my life. I was introduced to it when I was young, and although I have wandered away from the path at times, losing connection with my body and becoming a little disembodied, it is a practice that has always called me home again. When I dance the 5Rhythms, I remember myself. I feel alive in my body, grounded in movement, and held by the community that gathers on the dance floor.
What I offer is a space that is respectful, inclusive, and playful, a space where people feel welcome just as they are. A place where movement becomes a language, where expression is free, and where each person can explore their own way of being in their body.
For me, the dance is a way back to ourselves, and back to each other.
