DESCRIPCION
In this workshop we're dancing with the element of fire. In 5Rhythms fire represents what we love, what we nurture and nourish in our lives: the hearth is a great image for this aspect of fire. And fire also represents a place of expression and release: we can give to the fire of our dance what no longer serves us. Traditionally we built fires at this time of the year to burn anything that we could not carry through the winter. And fires can be a focus for celebration and joy, a place where we gather to honour and take pleasure in our place in the world.I am inviting all these aspects of fire into this workshop: Gentle and nourishing, wild and expressive, fun and celebratory.
We begin at 11am and finish at 5.30pm.
The price is a sliding scale based on what you can afford: £50/£40/£30.
We will pause for a shared lunch, and it would be great if we could bring food that reflects this theme: spicy, fiery, or orange/ red in colour. But as always, it is ok to bring what you need, and you don't have to share if you don't want to.
I'll bring a variety of herbal teas as well as caffeinated teas, milk and sweet treats.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
