“To watch us dance is to hear our hearts speak.” ~ Hopi Indian SayingThe 5Rhythms® is a movement language. Each rhythm frees us to speak straight from the heart, beyond dialect, dogma, or doubt. To quote Gabrielle Roth, “Rhythm is our mother tongue”.
And, for each of us there are some rhythms that we embody as if they were our native language. And, for each of us there are some rhythms that we trip over, mispronounce, and mis-communicate just like when we’re trying to speak a foreign language.
In this workshop we will move and be moved as we become multi-lingual, fully conversant, wholly communicative in all of the rhythms. With the simple clarity and endless creativity of a body in motion, we’ll explore how to connect more fully to ourselves, one another, to the one and to the all. Rhythm by rhythm, we’ll speak the whole Wave without a single word getting in the way of how much we mean.
Join us as we remember the basics, expand our embodied vocabulary, and practice being fluent in motion. Join us as we speak the language of our bones, the poetry of our blood, words of our breath, messages we embody, the love we have to express.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
